3 tracks on Metalheadz, out on 2 October 2026: the track list, the label, the artist and where it sits in this month's issue.
Kolectiv's The Black Light Project (Part 2) is out on Metalheadz, with Apple Music giving 2 October 2026 as its release date. It runs to 3 tracks, filed under Jungle and drum and bass.
The track list, in order, reads: 1. Music That We Feel (6:52); 2. The Rhythm (Trace It Back) (7:00); 3. Black Light (5:05).
Taken together the release runs for about 19 minutes. That is long enough to hear properly in one sitting, and short enough to put on a second time.
Metalheadz was founded in 1994 by Kemistry and Storm and by Goldie, and is one of the major drum and bass labels in the United Kingdom. Its logo is a skull wearing headphones.
For this month's magazine, one of its tracks is among this issue's Our Top 10 and it is in this issue's Fifty Cuts Deep. Every month we match new drum and bass releases to their Apple Music listings and report what we can verify. This one was released on 2 October 2026, and the listing was checked on 16 October 2026.
